MISSION STATEMENT
The Board of Directors is guided by the Woodinville Cemetery Association mission statement:
Fulfill the wishes of Ira and Susan Woodin to make the southeast two acres of their homestead available to the dead of Woodinville and the surrounding area.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The cemetery is run by the Woodinville Cemetery Association, which consists of a 12-member volunteer Board of Directors.
Board Meetings
The Board of Directors meets several times a year.
The public is welcome to attend the board meetings.
Please contact the cemetery representative to get the date, time, and location of the next meeting.
CEMETERY REPRESENTATIVE
Did you know that a cemetery representative / overseer / caretaker is sometimes called a Sexton? It's an old term still in use today, though rarely used by people unfamiliar with the operation of cemeteries.
Our Cemetery Representive, a volunteer, does yeoman duty, taking care of many aspects of our day-to-day cemetery operations, including:
- Selling plots.
- Accepting donations.
- Arranging bequests to the cemetery.
- Cemetery maintenance and security.
- Arranging burials.
- Arranging transfers and exhumations.
- Arrangements for special observances.
We have tried to include in this website the answers to
questions people often ask, and to provide other information you should know, or might be interested to know.
Before contacting our Cemetery Representive, please try to find the answer on this website. Our FAQ Page provides an easy way to find answers to many common questions.
When all else fails, you can contact the volunteer Cemetery Representative through this link. The Cemetery Representive will get back to you as soon as possible; please allow at least a day for a response.
SPECIAL OBSERVANCE
If you'd like to hold a special observance in the cemetery, please arrange it in advance with the cemetery representative. The cemetery does not charge a fee for an observance.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
The Board of Directors has adopted rules and regulations for safe and efficient operation of the cemetery. Click on the links below to see specific sections of the rules and regulations:

The Woodinville Memorial Mead is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation registered in the state of Washington, United States of America.
Our tax number is 91-1334756.
Contributions to the cemetery
are tax-deductible!
MAINTENANCE
The Board of Directors contracts out tasks such as lawn mowing and the opening and closing of graves.
Other tasks are contracted out as needed.
The cemetery's Sexton / overseer can be contacted through the cemetery representative.
